The ACE9000 PayGuard meter attachment is a solution for using existing metering installations to reduce the cost of implementing a prepayment system. The ACE9000 PayGuard attachment can be used with any DIN standard pulsing meter, both single and three-phase.
The attachment uses a standard smart card to transfer data from theTalexus Vendor management software to the metering point. This provides an effective and low cost method for two-way communication between meter and utility.
The ACE9000 PayGuard offers a number of unique features such as load limitation as an alternative to disconnection, and tenancy management without visiting the consumer, in addition to standard functions which include Emergency Credit, snapshot meter readings and complex tariff management.
