The plug-in board for mounting in Itron heat meters and static water meters
This MIU is easily plugged inside its meter. It is usually shipped from the factory already mounted and configured, but can also be quickly retrofitted to meters installed in the field without breaking any metrological seals. The M-Bus board transmits not only the volume consumption information but also instantaneous parameters (e.g. flow-rate, instantaneous power, temperature difference, etc.), directly collected from the meter's micro-processor.
