The test bench combines the accuracy and repeatability at low flows provided by sonic nozzle technology with the more convenient TZ or RPD master meter for higher flow rates. For example the Combical 6500 uses a combination of reference transfer meter G4000 and a set of 14 sonic nozzles as standards combined in several blocks. A reference standard meter is able to measure every flow rate within its operative range. The test sequence can be defined automatically by the system administrator and the bench select between the master meter or the more suitable combination on nozzles or controlled manually by the user. In automatic mode, the test points are programmed in a sequence, and the result is obtained at the end. During the sequence, any test can be halted or repeated if necessary. In manual mode, the test points are selected from those available and the changes from one condition to another are controlled by the user.
