These test benches can be manufactured using sonic nozzles or bell prover technologies. They are suitable to be used in meters manufacturers? plants or for laboratory utilities. The test bench generates the requested flow rates and compares the measured volume of the gas meter under test with the applied standard reference system. In order to take into account the pressure and the temperature relationship in masters and test gas meters, the errors of the test gas meters and the associated adjusting devices are calculated according to the current valid weights and measures regulations. Several different meter pulses can be used for reading the calibration volume, optical marks, reed contacts, hand held terminal.
