SINGAPORE, Republic of Singapore — January 4th, 2010 — Itron, Inc. (NASDAQ: ITRI), announced today that it has recently been awarded with the annual tender issued by PUB Singapore to supply commercial and industrial water meters.

PUB is Singapore’s national water agency, managing around 1.2 million meters in the city and delivering water to approximately 6 million inhabitants. This contract will see Itron install 2130 meters, from DN50 to DN200. Itron has already delivered 50% of the order with meters coming from its Haguenau (France) manufacturing site and will complete the delivery by the end of the year. The total amount of the tender is over 1.7 million Singapore dollars.
