Several benches for testing resistance reproduce actual conditions in the field and the different types of ‘accidents’ that may confront our meters (over loaded water, water with scale, water hammers or sudden variations in pressure). For their part, the endurance benches reproduce the sequences for opening and closing the water supply flow as required by current standards, with maximum and minimum flow cycles. The laboratory’s latest acquisition is a bench for testing performance and high temperature resistance. Set up behind safety windows and operated by a specially-trained team, it can test meters at almost 180°C. With all this equipment, the laboratory is almost unique in France.
 
Since 2007, our people have aimed at gaining COFRAC* accreditation under classification ISO 17025.  Specific accreditation goes further than ‘certification’ - which in this case means conforming to a system quality standard - because it also recognises the technical competence of personnel.

This status conforms to the new MID requirements and OIML certifications.
