Actaris Brazil plants 1000 trees in Americana
Dec 03, 2007

Sharing the conviction that each of us can participate to a more sustainable future, Actaris decided to create the "Plantaris Project - Planting a Better Future". It aims to help recover the diversity of vegetal species in Americana region and protect "Gruta Dainese" water resources, an area of nearly 500,000 sq. meters and the largest green area in the city, which is also the biggest natural park in Americana.

On the 2nd of December, 240 employees and relatives, all volunteers, planted 1000 native and fruit trees donated by local Environmental Agency. A Non-Governmental Organization working with Americana Administration will then take care of those trees.

All communication material developped during the internal campaign to inform and recruit the employees were printed on recycled paper. See below an example of a banner :

Congratulations and thanks to every one voluntarily involved in this project.
