Featuring a patented innovative semi parabolic turbine, the Flostar M DN150 optimizes its low flow performance and a significant peak flow capacity which ensure a complete and efficient measurement whatever the faced flow-rates. This results in an exceptional dynamic range of 630 (Q3/Q1) according to the new Measurement Instrument Directive.
Because performance over time is a key requirement for efficient billing, the Flostar M features a patented turbine ball pivoting enhancing endurance at low flow-rates and a hydrodynamic balance bringing resistance at high and peak flows. High quality material of each element makes this robust reliable meter able to withstand over time most types of potable water environments. Another innovation complete this meter to be adapted in the widest range of installation configurations: mobile flanges allowing easy installation in a horizontal position.
The high-end copper can mineral glass register developed by Actaris is implemented on the Flostar M, offering a perfect long-term water-tightness and an easy readability. This register retains full communication capability through Cyble© technology and is ready for automated remote reading, through the Actaris RF mobile reading system, particularly adapted to large billing applications where a need for frequent meter monitoring is expressed especially in hard-to-read locations.
