The quest for total quality is a priority within Itron. The recent investments made in Research and Development centres for the modernisation of testing and metrology equipments bear witness to the group’s aim to stay one step ahead of technological advances in a constantly changing market.
Our laboratories are approved and certified by national and international organisations. Their performance exceeds the standards set by the regulatory bodies, which further guarantees the accuracy, reliability and durability of our products and systems.

 
 

Safeguarding our future

In fulfilling our mission to provide innovative, competitive metering products and systems and deliver optimal customer service, Itron is fully aware of environmental concerns. Environment, safety and risk management are an integral part of our QHSE policy. Ten Itron sites are already ISO14001 certified and most have implemented an environmental management system. Aimed at continuous improvement in the use of energy and water and in reducing or recycling waste this will result in better quality environment and safety that will enhance company performance and profitability by reducing unnecessary expense.

The “TQM” culture applies to everyone

All the Itron International manufacturing sites are ISO 9001:2000 certified and fully conforms to the TQM (Total Quality Management) programme set up by Actaris a few years ago.
This Quality programme, supported by the entire Management, is the foundation for all Itron employees’ commitment to deliver top quality service in their day-to-day operations.
